Rent payments
If you are concerned that you may not be able to pay your rent, please let us know as soon as possible contact elaine@landlorddirect.com We appreciate this is a very difficult time for many and will work with you and your landlord to get through this. Options might include a deferment on rent owed, or a payment plan. However, you should be aware that you will still owe this money and it will need to be repaid within an agreed time-frame.
Financial support available through Universal Credit
Whether you are currently on Universal Credit or claiming this benefit for the first time because of the circumstances you find yourself in, there is a raft of support in place for you to help you through this period. For the next three months there is no longer any requirement to attend an interview at a Job Centre given the current emergency and all applications will be dealt with online. Routine inspections and repairs
For now, adhering to government guidelines on preventing the spread of infection, we won’t be attending any routine property inspections, and our office will be closed. However, you can still get in touch via email

Get up to date rent account information, use our accounts email request system
All our tenants are expected to pay the rent due in monthly installments by bank standing order. We set this up for you at the commencement of your tenancy.
For the security of our staff, and to meet regulatory guidelines, cash payments are not accepted unless by prior agreement. If you should experience any difficulties with your rent payments the key is to discuss this with our accounts department quickly.
Late payments should be avoided, and can attract administration charges to you.
Remember you can pay by debit card by phone to avoid a late payment.
